Our dedicated business team aims to get DUEM's name out to as many people as possible through education at schools and publicity at international events so that the engineers can focus on what they do best.
Undergraduates
The team is made up of over 50 of some of the world's brightest young engineers, many of which are at undergraduate level of study at Durham University. Some of our members go on to work with our partners after study.

DUEM works closely with the University and Department of Engineering in order to develop the best solar car we can. Without their support, it simply wouldn't be possible.

International Events
We have attended countless events both nationally and internationally. Our cutting edge technology has been featured at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Formula E-Prixs, and United Nations Climate Summits.
International Races
We are no strangers to international races. Having traveled the globe with 5 generations of solar car attending the 2008 North American Solar Challenge as well as the 2011, 2015,2017 & 2019 World Solar Challenges in Australia.
