In April 2024, a few members of the team went down to Warwick to visit the Bridgestone UK Headquarters! We had the opportunity to give insights into the details of our project, from technical challenges to life in the Outback.
In addition, we were able to open up DUSC2023 and show off the technology that makes our project beat. The event drew large crowds who were excited to gain a peek into the work we do at Durham University Solar Car and get to know the students behind one of the UK’s most unique and exciting university projects.
As always, we appreciated the opportunity to hear from the people at Bridgestone, particularly about their Enliten Tyre Technology. The opportunity to meet a partner that directly platforms our work with their donations of race tyres was truly rewarding, and we hope to continue working together.
